Description: This workshop is for the solar curious and the experienced solar power user. We will cover the basics of residential sized, grid tied photovoltaic solar systems.  After a brief overview of how the solar modules convert solar energy into electricity, we will cover the basics of designing a system.  This will include determining costs, intertie requirements, inverters, and placement of the solar modules.

Cost:  $100 for I-Renew members; $150 for non-members

Lunch: Lunch is not included in the cost of the workshop, but is available for $11.  The menu is included on the registration form.
