Play the Wedge Game!
Jack Yates, Dept of Psychology, UNI3:10 pm, CEEE 111
This workshop relies on materials modified from classroom curriculum created by Princeton University scientists that encourages individuals to clarify their values and beliefs about national energy policies and priorities, and to consider ALL the options for a sustainable future. Should the future belong to nuclear? Coal? Wind? The game sets a goal of carbon stabilization by 2050 that participants meet by choosing from a suite of currently available technologies and energy options. Participants make their choices in small groups, then compare their choices across groups.
