Please mark your calendars now for the 2009 I-Renew Energy & Sustainability Expo for September 12 & 13, 2009 to be held at the headquarters of the Frontier Natural Products Co-op in Norway, Iowa (just outside of Cedar Rapids).

Frontier has been a leading supplier of natural and organic products since 1978, emphasizing product quality and social responsibility from our founding. A pioneer in the promotion of organics, Frontier's commitment continues today with the natural food industry's most extensive selection of organic products, steadfast efforts to promote organic agriculture around the world, and our donation of 1% of sales from the all-organic spice brand Simply Organic to support organic farming.
We have tried to excel in all aspects of sustainability, from efficient energy use, green construction and an employee-friendly workplace here in Iowa to far-reaching programs of sustainable sourcing, worldwide charity, and international support of small farms and co-ops. To find and develop ethical sources of high quality products in all parts of the world, we have developed our own sustainability certification program, Well Earth™.
Last fall we produced a comprehensive report assessing our current sustainability performance and developing goals for the future. The report, which is available to the public at http://www.frontiercoop.com/sustainabilityreport/, details our efforts in the areas of sourcing, products, facilities, operations, employees, community and finance.
